Glen Leigh Monarch M142 (P)

An upstanding son of Moongana Iron Man I2376(P), we couldn't resist in keeping Monarch for our own herd. Dark red in colour with a smooth topline and naturally polled. Monarch was tested for the PP gene, but his result came back inconclusive. His dam Folly F153 is a lovely female from the Felton Park 544 (PS) line, FP 544 took a lot of horn out of our cattle, so we think he could possibly be a homozygeous bull.

Monarch is joined to stud & commercial females. We will look forward to seeing his cales in 2019

Goolagong Lord L114 (P)

We are very excited to introduce this charming young sire. Purchased for $22,000 at the 2017 Santa Central Sale.
Sired by the Brisbane Ekka Junior & Senior Grand Champion bull Yarrawonga Corvette, Lord being like his father has a fabulous thick hindquarter and all over even constitution.
His half brother Yarrawonga Fixer also won the Brisbane Ekka as a Junior & Senior Grand Champion bull and then went on to win the interbreed bull Championship at the 2017 Ekka.      We just love the muscle power and constitution that Corvette is producing and will be interested to see Lord’s first progeny in 2018.

Tookey Creek Kofu K60 (P)

Tookey Creek Kofu K60 (P) is a deep bodied dark red homozygous polled son of Greenup Gaffer G74 (P). We purchased him from the Tookey Creek & Jarrah Park Sale in 2016. He was purchased for $16,000.
His EBV’s place him around the top 5% for his 200, 400 & 600 Day Weights and top 10% for his Eye Muscle, Mature weight and Retail Yield.
Kofu is used mainly over our heifers and he does not disappoint. His second crop of calves are hitting the ground running. They are born small, but quickly gain weight and thicken up. We never have to aid the heifers while calving.
His first sons will be for sale in 2019.

Moongana Iron Man I2376 (PP)

Moongana I2376 (P) was purchased from the Moongana Invitational Sale at Springsure QLD on the 24th August 2015 and was the second equal top priced bull of the day at $20,000. He is a homozygous poll bull with tremendous carcase and bone in which he is passing onto his progeny.
We have been so impressed with what he is producing here. His females are outstanding and his sons are shaping up very nicely in the lead up to the first sale of  his progeny this year.
At classification this year, 100% of his progeny that were presented were classified, we have never had that happen before. Iron Mans daughters will be in production this year and we are looking forward to seeing their calves hit the ground in 2019

Glen Leigh Jackson J200 (AI)(P)

Jackson is our first homebred sire that we are using for stud duties. He has some of the best bloodlines in the breed. Both his sire - Big Banana and maternal Grand sire - Wilgaroon Jester were Royal Brisbane Grand Champions.

Jackson was to be the first of our Watasanta Big Banana sons to be offered for sale at the Spring Classic Sale in Toowoomba in September, but he injured his back leg  while coming through the race for paint branding. It was an easy decision to hold him back and use him for stud duties this year.
This young sire has it all – softness, bone, frame, muscle, dark red in colour & he has been tested 98% Homozygous Poll. His dam Warenda Sienna S169 was purchased for $5,000 from the Warenda Major Sale in 2009. Sienna is a highly fertile cow and has had 8 calves, including a set of twins in 2012 and a full A.I sister to Jackson in 2014. Her calving interval is 331 days. One of Sienna’s daughters, Ella E137 (AI)(P) was a show heifer and was awarded Grand Champion female at the Inverell Show in 2010.

Wilgaroon Duntroon D520 (ET)(AI)(P)

We purchased Wilgaroon Duntroon privately from John & Liz Manchee’s Wilgaroon Stud in 2010. He is a polled ET son of Wave Hill Major (P) who sold to the Strathmore Stud for $44,000 in 1999.

His dam, Murrumbo Sapphire 1310/1 (P) was a 19 year old cow who had 15 calves, she is also the dam of  Murrumbo Beaumon (P) and Wilgaroon Kokoda (P)

Duntroon is an exceptionally long bull that carries a tonne of muscle, has an excellent sheath, a smooth topline and moves freely. He has plenty of sire appeal and has quickly established himself with his females and keeps them close by.
To date, in 7 calving seasons, he has sired over 300 calves (including many set of twins). He is a highly fertile bull that constantly demands females. Duntroon was shown at Beef Australia in Rockhampton as a junior bull, where he was placed 3rd and he won his class at Brisbane in the same year.
