The 2010 Sale Bulls

are now ready for sale

   All of the sale bulls have been prepared on oats. They went onto the oats on 13/3/2010 as the season was very favourable. They have been allowed access to a ration of milled oaten & millet hay to keep their coats in good condition through the cold weather.

  The Glen Leigh sale bulls are performance recorded and have been scanned for fat & muscle and have scrotal measurements. The bulls were scanned on the 12/5/2010 to allow for submission to the Santa Gertrudis Group Breedplan run at the end of May. All current figures and raw data is available. The bulls have also been soundness evaluated and semen/ morphology tested on 4/6/2010. Only 1 bull failed the semen test, he has been culled from the herd. Annual vaccinations are also completed for Vibrio, 7 in 1 and Pesti Virus.
